Yummm! Now I have to go get some greens for lunch at Downtown at the Hawaii State Art Musuem. They always have a great assortment of great local vegetable medleys as antipasto.

I want to know what movie did you watch?

Have always loved the homemade gifts. Still have the glass case you made me years ago with Alfred E. Newman. Will there be any cards available this year?

On not asking people what they want: I have always subscribed to this theory. Sometimes you learn just as much about someone when they return something as when they keep it. It's all good.

Nothing like a brownie. I've made a lot of brownies in my time, from scratch and from mixes. The most positive and consistent response for me comes from using the ghiradelli mix from costco, and adding about a cup each of flaked coconut and macadamia nuts along with the oil, eggs and water in the directions. It's quick and adding the coconut and mac-nuts puts a little aloha into your mouth.

Loved the night photography, the modern sculpture, and your giraffe bag. You make me smile!

For what its worth I also give Artizan Roast and the Fruitmarket Gallery Cafe a try. In my humble opinion they both have superior brownies although I tend to think the gooier the better!

I adore Polish foods and am always seeking new ideas to experiment with in my kitchen. Happily my family loves the meals that I make too so it's a win win scenario. I will definitely have to try out some new recipes.
